A 21-year-old New Jersey man and a 20-year-old University Park man were ordered to stand trial before District Justice Daniel Hoffman on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Gustaf B. Karlson and Peter Zaranski allegedly sold half a pound of marijuana to an undercover police officer Jan. 27 on the east side of the Visual Arts Building, according to court documents.

Also before Hoffman, a 24-year-old Maryland woman was ordered to stand trial on the charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

Toinette M. Jones allegedly grabbed a 23-year-old woman by the throat and punched her several times in the head next to Boucke Building. According to court documents, she also allegedly told her that next time she would put a bullet through her head.
