Police Log

  • Theft: Dale Strickler of 744 W. Whitehall Road reported an amplifier, cassette player, speakers, cassette tapes and miscellaneous paperwork were taken from his car some time after Friday, the State College Police Department said.

    The items are worth $1,000.

  • Theft: David Connolly of 522 W. College Ave. reported his mountain bicycle was stolen from his apartment between Thursday and Friday, State College police said.

    The bicycle is worth $636.

  • Theft: A University student reported two speakers and 12 baseball caps were taken from his car between Saturday and yesterday, University Police Services said.

    His car was parked on the fourth level of the HUB parking deck, police said.

    The items are worth $300.

  • Theft: Adam Bertuch of 710 S. Atherton St. reported a stereo was stolen from his car Sunday, State College police said.

    The stereo is worth about $200.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
