Arrest and Disposition: Kathleen M. Gittrich of 116 Easterly Parkway was issued a citation yesterday for writing a check on an account with insufficient funds at the University's Salvage and Surplus warehouse on Services Road, University Police Services said.

The check was written for $220.

Drug Law Violation: A resident assistant reported the smell of marijuana was coming from a room in Bigler Hall Wednesday night, University police said.

Two residents were identified and some suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were confiscated, police said.

Fraud: An employee at Radio Shack, 2901 E. College Ave., reported yesterday that two bad checks were issued from a closed account, the State College Police Department said.

Police said they have a suspect.

The checks were written for $250.
