A disguised man armed with a hunting knife entered a Uni-Mart on U.S. Route 322 yesterday morning and demanded money from the cashier, the Philipsburg state police said.

The man -- who had cloaked his face with a blanket -- fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and is still on the loose, state police said.

Cashier Kathy Barkman was unharmed in the incident, police said.

Police said the suspect is a 5-foot-6-inch white man with a medium build.
