SARB investigates King Undergraduate Student Government President Mike King will be under investigation for allegedly violating the USG constitution. The USG Senate voted last night to authorize the Senate Appointments and Review Board (SARB) Committee to investigate actions taken by King. PHC nominates new candidates The Panhellenic Council finished nominating candidates for four elected positions -- PHC president, executive vice president, administrative vice president and secretary/treasurer. Nominations opened Jan. 9 and closed Monday night. Students, faculty react to Israeli bombing The latest in an escalating round of terrorist attacks on Israeli targets has left one more stumbling block in the way of a peace process that has struggled to get off the ground. Mild winter leaves skiers out in cold The meteorologists keep forecasting it. The skies are clouding over. And skiers in State College are praying for it. HUB/Robeson funds still held Although University administrators claim the HUB/Robeson expansion project ranks at the top of its requests for state funds, for more than three years it has remained stagnant, with the money still stuck in the governor's office. But as a member of the No. 2 men's gymnastics team, Joe Roemer would not mind if his life was a little less fair.
Just ask Thomas Strzalkowski, a coaching assistant for the Penn State fencing team. If fate had not intervened in his life, he would not be where he is today.
