Police Log

    -- Criminal Mischief: A University employee reported Monday that unknown persons threw trash cans, trash can liners and other debris from an unknown floor of Pinchot Hall, University Police Services said.

    The incident occurred sometime between Friday and Monday, police said.

    The value of damage is unknown.

    -- Disorderly Conduct: Christopher Jordan of 524 Locust Lane reported Monday that he was bumped in the nose sometime that day when a fight occurred between two members of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, of the same address, the State College Police Department said.

    Jordan was taken to the hospital, State College police said.

    -- Parking Violation/Warrant Service: Sheldon C. Tyrrell III of 1 Ewing was transported Monday to District Justice Carmine Prestia's office where $130.50 was paid for three outstanding parking violations, University police said.

    -- Theft: Kristen Brush reported Monday that her coat was stolen late Sunday from Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, 346 E. Prospect Ave., State College police said.

    Identification cards and a pair of mittens worth $30 were stolen along with the coat.

    The coat is worth $100.

    -- Traffic Violation/Warrant Service: Walter Young of 315 W. Foster Ave., was transported Monday to District Justice Carmine Prestia's office where $538 was paid for 12 outstanding parking violations, University police said.

    -- Traffic Violations/Warrant Service: Sharon Reed of State College was transported Monday to District Justice Carmine Prestia's office where $50 was paid toward $164 in outstanding parking and traffic violations, University police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
