Police Log

  • Assault: A University student reported yesterday morning that he was assaulted at Zeno's, 100 W. College Ave., Tuesday night, the State College Police Department said.

    The State College police said he was treated at University Health Services for face and arm injuries.

    No charges have been filed, police said.

  • Theft: A University employee reported Tuesday that a computer was stolen from an office in Ferguson Building that afternoon, University Police Services said.

    Because of the method of operation, University police said it is most likely the same suspect who had stolen other computers on campus.

    The computer is worth $5,000.

  • Theft: Debbie Austin of 466 E. Beaver Ave. reported yesterday that her bicycle was stolen from outside her residence between Jan. 2 and Friday, State College police said.

    The bicycle is worth $360.

  • Theft: A University employee reported Tuesday that a University parking permit, four cassette tapes, two articles of clothing and a pair of gloves were taken from her vehicle in Parking Lot Red C between Jan. 12 and Monday, University police said.

    The items are worth $166.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
