Stephanie Mauceri has lived in State College her entire life, and she is ready for a change. So she supported the State College Borough Council's decision Tuesday to give the go-ahead to a new urban village district.

Along with all of the construction and development anticipated with west campus expansion and the recently approved urban village, parking, mobility, traffic and security will be among the issues affecting students.

The University's plans to expand west campus may need to include an expanded budget to support the construction unless the state helps by paying for five proposed buildings which could cost almost $164 million.

The College of Engineering and the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences will soon have more room for laboratories and classrooms west of Atherton Street now that the west campus expansion project is well underway.

To many people, the phrase "dirty politician" may sound repetitive, but some local politicians have taken steps to improve their images by moving away from negative campaigning.

Undergraduate Student Government leaders and a State College Borough engineer hit the streets Tuesday night in search of poorly lit areas.

SPORTS

They are faithful worshippers, as they well should be, as their god caters to their every sense and indulges their every criminal and immoral fantasy.

There's music for dancing, there's music for driving, music to woo with and music to cry with. And then there's music to go to sleep with. The dream-like quality of Seal's latest release lends itself to the last suggestion.
