Letter to the Editor
Research Fair

At a university this size, many undergraduates feel lost among the red seats of Schwab Auditorium, or feel they are only known by their Social Security number. But there are opportunities for students.

In keeping with their tradition of celebrating undergraduate excellence, the University Scholars Student Advisory Committee, in collaboration with the Undergraduate Student Government Academic Assembly, is proud to sponsor the third annual Undergraduate Research Fair. The fair will be going on tomorrow and Thursday in the HUB Ballroom.

The research fair is a showcase for students to display their work and share achievements with others outside their field of study. It is a chance to recognize students who have taken the chance to participate in research one-on-one with their professors. With the support of the Office of Undergraduate Education, $2,500 in cash prizes will be awarded for those projects selected by faculty review as most outstanding.

Please stop and see the fine examples of undergraduate research going on at Penn State. We look forward to seeing you.
