  • Three vehicles collide in Ferguson Township: Two people remain in fair condition at Centre Community Hospital after a three-vehicle accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of Whitehall and Nixon roads, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Jeanette and H.L. Krall, both of 500 E. Marylyn Ave., were admitted to the hospital after their vehicle collided with two other vehicles before rolling onto its roof, the Ferguson Township Police Department said.

According to police, witnesses at the scene said Jeanette Krall allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign while heading northbound on Nixon Road.

John English and Gadur Daghfous, both of 331 W. College Ave., and Gloria Holanan of Pennsylvania Furnace were treated and released, the hospital spokeswoman said.

Police said no charges have been filed, but an investigation is continuing.
