Police respond to fraternity argument: The State College Police Department said it responded to a verbal argument between members of two fraternities early yesterday morning.
The argument began when members of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, 417 E. Prospect Ave., approached members of nearby Delta Chi fraternity, 424 E. Fairmount Ave., police said. The Pi Kappa Alpha members accused Delta Chi members of shooting and damaging their fraternity's windows, police said.
Police said they responded after Delta Chi president Matthew Stuckert called them. When they arrived, members from both fraternities agreed to work out their differences among themselves, police said.

Aggravated Assault: A woman reported her ex-boyfriend put a gun to her head early yesterday morning while in her apartment at 710 S. Atherton St., State College police said.
The man took the gun away from her head after a few seconds and then left the apartment, police said.
Police said the woman did not want to press charges but wanted to document the incident in case something worse happened later.

Criminal Mischief: University Police Services Cadet Matthew Mensinger reported someone broke a large window early yesterday morning in the lobby of Stephens Hall, University police said.
The amount of damage is $500.

Criminal Mischief: University employee Monica Zimmerman reported an electrical panel box on the fifth level of the Nittany Parking Garage was damaged, University police said.
Police said the time of the incident and amount of damage are unknown.

Fire: A University employee reported the contents of a dumpster were on fire Wednesday on the west side of Research West Building, University police said.
The fire was extinguished by responding officers.
Police said the cause of the fire is unknown.

Theft: Eric Astor of 119 S. Buckhout St. reported his mountain bicycle was stolen between Wednesday and yesterday while it was locked outside the Atherton Hilton, 125 S. Atherton St., State College police said.
The bicycle is worth $1,250.

Theft: Jeremy Allen of 106 Packer reported various parts of his bicycle were stolen when it was parked outside his dorm, University police said.
The stolen parts are worth $355.
