The Undergraduate Student Government Academic Assembly would like to announce the Fall 1994 Course Selector Guide. The selector is a guide to excellent general education classes at Penn State, to be used in conjunction with the Fall 1994 Directory of Classes.
The selector contains a statement from the professor, a description of the requirements, results of a student survey and student comments for many classes that will fulfill general education requirements. It also contains the "Best Professors at Penn State" list compiled by USG. It is available currently at the Student Book Store, the University Book Centre and the Penn State Bookstore on Campus.
We would like to thank all the Academic Assembly members who worked hard to make this guide possible. We would especially like to thank former president Erich May who got this project off the ground and into the hands of the students. This guide could also not have been possible without the cooperation of the faculty members presented in this guide and the many groups that helped to fund this project.
Academic Assembly is currently looking for students interested in helping with the next Course Selector Guide to be surveyed this semester and published in the fall. If you are interested in editing, surveying classes, writing, page layout or advertising, please contact Emily Bahn at 863-1USG or 862-7056 for more information.
