A recently organized student group apparently canceled two protests it had planned yesterday.

Members of Students for Real Democracy, who held a news conference Sunday to blast the Undergraduate Student Government and express discontent with government and corporate influence University-wide, failed to appear at protests at The Daily Collegian office, 123 S. Burrowes St., and Old Main yesterday.

The demonstrations, scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Collegian and noon at Old Main, attracted one supporter at Old Main who refused to comment. The members of the group were also unavailable for comment yesterday.
