Letter to the Editor
Ending oppression

Many letters have been written lately about the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Student Alliance and their requests -- most of these letters have been negative. I would like to clarify a few things that have been written.

I am especially concerned with the belief that we, homosexuals, choose our oppression. We choose to follow our hearts, and not deny our love for women. We have not chosen to be executed, disinherited and fired, or driven to suicide, murder and self hatred. Nor should we be pitied and shock treated, or denied housing, marriage or families.

You have chosed that for us, and therefore it you who must undo our oppression. We have done all we can.
