Ferguson Township Police have recovered the vehicle involved in a carjacking last week on West College Avenue.
The car was recovered in "excellent condition" in Lock Haven and will now be processed so that police can obtain any available evidence, such as fingerprints, Chief Edward Connor said.
Police are continuing their search for a man they believe approached a University student March 11 at the intersection of South Atherton Street and West College Avenue and asked for a ride.
The student agreed to transport the hitchhiker to a friend's house.
But when the driver stopped his car in the 1700 block of West College Avenue in Ferguson Township, the suspect ordered the student out of the car while indicating he had a gun in his pocket, police said.
The suspect then drove away, heading westbound on West College Avenue.
