The Bellefonte man whose mobile home porch roof collapsed on him because of heavy snowfall died March 4 at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown.

Gary Richards, 53, of Bellefonte, died from injuries suffered when his metal porch roof collapsed March 3, an Undine Fire Company official said.

Richards was originally taken to Centre Community Hospital before he was transferred to Conemaugh, the fire company official said.
