Police Log

  • Disorderly Conduct: University Park Airport employee David Neufer reported a student made a statement Monday night to airport screening personnel about a "ticking device" in his carry-on luggage, University Police Services said.

    Police said John Wahlers of 340 E. Beaver Ave. was issued a citation for making the alleged statement and was released after they found an alarm clock in the luggage.

  • Simple Assault/Harassment: A Packer Hall student reported he was pushed and slapped by his roommate Monday night while the two were arguing in their dorm room, University police said.

    Police said an investigation is continuing.

  • Theft: The manager of CC Peppers, 434 E. College Ave., reported a cash box filled with money was stolen Sunday from a desk inside the restaurant, the State College Police Department said.

    The value of the cash box and money is $450.
