I am writing in response to Matt Volpi's article that appeared in The Daily Collegian on Thursday. I was pleased to read that the University Concert Committee booked country star Mark Chesnutt. You have done a good thing and it could not have happened any sooner. Good job Len Dudis.

A country fan for over a year now, I could not help but wonder when Penn State would realize the need for a major country act. Country music is gaining popularity fast and this concert will, no doubt, contribute to the country music craze.
