Man questioned for alleged theft: An employee of Rich's Amoco gas station in Milesburg was questioned by the Rockview state police Monday after a surveillance video camera showed him allegedly stealing money from the business, Rockview police said.
The suspect removed at least $161 from the premises, police said.
The surveillance was set up by a professional agency at the request of the store's owner after the business lost about $25,000 in revenue over a period of time, police said.
Other individuals were observed allegedly taking money and items from the store, police said.
Police said they will continue to investigate the surveillance videos and will prosecute anyone shown removing money or merchandise.

Vehicle strikes tree, driver arrested for DUI: A Julian man was arrested for driving under the influence after he allegedly drove a van off U.S. Route 220 south early yesterday morning, Philipsburg State Police said.
Kenneth B. Comly of Julian allegedly traveled 138 feet along the side of the road before he struck an embankment, went 41 feet airborne and struck a pine tree, police said. The van then struck a telephone pole, police said.
Comly sustained minor facial injuries but refused medical treatment, police said.

Fire: An employee of the Office of Physical Plant reported smoke coming from the underpass at the intersection of Pollock and Shortlidge roads Tuesday afternoon, University Police Services said.
Officers discovered and extinguished a pile of trash on fire in the tunnel area.

Open Lewdness/Disorderly Conduct/Trespass: An employee of Pattee reported a man was masturbating at 3 p.m. Tuesday in a women's restroom on the 4th floor of Pattee, University police said.
Police officers apprehended the man and identified him as a University student.

Theft: A University employee reported a camcorder and its associated equipment was stolen on Feb. 9 from 2 Carnegie, University police said.
The equipment is worth $2,200.

Theft: Yucheng Feng of 917 S. Allen St. reported his bicycle was stolen between Feb. 7 and Tuesday night from the parking lot outside his residence, the State College Police Department said.
The bicycle is worth $300.

Weapons: State College police said they are investigating a report that a 17-year-old male State College Area High School student was in possession of a handgun during a State College football game on Sept. 17.
