Police Log

  • Criminal Mischief: An employee of Parkway Plaza Apartments, 1000 Plaza Drive, reported 11 hallway lights were damaged between Friday and Sunday on the 6th floor of "B" building, the State College Police Department said.

    The damage is estimated at $385.

  • Criminal Mischief: An employee at the Saloon, 101 Hiester St., reported that a large exterior window was smashed between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, State College police said.

    The value of the window is not known.

  • Rape: An employee of Stepping Stone, 333 S. Atherton St., reported that a minor of the same address was raped Sunday evening, State College police said.

    Police have no suspects but an investigation is continuing.

  • Theft: Michael Harding of 342 Hamilton Hall reported his jacket was stolen between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. yesterday from Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, 322 Fraternity Row, State College police said.

    The jacket is worth $225.

  • Theft: Matthew McCarty of 3 Packer reported his jacket was stolen late Friday night from a tree on McKean Road, University police said.

    McCarty placed his jacket on a tree while he went sledding, police said.

    The jacket is worth $170.

  • Theft: Rebecca Smith of 607 Ritner reported her jacket was stolen between 2 and 4 a.m. Saturday morning from Alpha Chi Sigma fraternity, 406 S. Pugh St., State College police said.

    The jacket is worth $140.

  • Theft: Kathleen Garanich of 122 Stone reported her jacket was stolen between midnight and 2 a.m.on Saturday from Alpha Chi Sigma fraternity, 406 S. Pugh St., State College police said.

    The jacket is worth $120.
