Police Log

  • Woman restrained against will with tape: A woman reported she was restrained against her will by a man who taped her legs with electrical tape yesterday at 338 W. College. Ave, the State College Police Department said.

    Police said no arrests have been made but they are investigating.

  • Drug Overdose: University Police Services reported it assisted the University Ambulance Service yesterday morning when a female resident of Cross Hall overdosed on Tylenol.

  • Fraud: An employee at Weis Markets, 560 Westerly Parkway, reported that six bad checks were written on the same account on multiple dates, State College police said.

    Police said the checks are worth $289.

  • Fraud: An employee at Weis Markets Inc., 560 Westerly Parkway, reported that three bad checks were written on the same account between Nov. 15 and 17, State College police said.
