A University student was ordered to stand trial yesterday by District Justice Ronald Horner in connection with the alleged theft of a movie videotape.

Christopher DeMenna of 504 Packer faces one count of theft in connection with the April 1993 incident.

According to court files, DeMenna rented the movie Mask April 16 from Video Center, 304 W. College Ave., for one day, and as of Sept. 13, the movie was allegedly not returned. The movie is worth $19.98.

DeMenna will be arraigned Feb. 7.
