On a typical workday, Gay Giannone puts 30 to 100 miles on her car. It's a place where students used to see one face after another marching by, a place where trying to get to know someone was nearly impossible even though all the people tried to take the time to care. Sorority women's grades again topped the all-University women average, while fraternity scholastics averaged below the men's grades for Fall Semester 1993.

He has won a pair of NCAA Division III National Championships, and his winning percentage as a collegiate coach is a Paterno-like 77.8 percent. A group of dancers on campus gets the chance to perform songs and dances from another country and at the same time learn about that country's culture, history and religion. In the kingdom known as "Pop," there is no doubt that Michael Jackson is king. In a land full of court jesters, Jackson has risen to the top of the pop world during the last 20 years with record-shattering album sales and constant media attention centering on his often quirky personality. It's dark. It's cold. The streets are empty, bathed in the yellow and red glow of blinking traffic lights. In the fast-paced year in film that was 1993, Hollywood on the whole had its eyes fixed on the rear-view mirror. Unfortunately, the films were farther than they appeared, ideas and budgets lost in the passing lane. Among plates of nachos, Latin rhythms straight out of Beetlejuice and bilingual men and women, Julie Lemmon is forgetting that her boyfriend yelled at her during dinner for making the broccoli wrong at home.
