Police Log

  • Apartment robbed over holiday break: Peter DiPietro, John Mincin and William Sarniak of 138 S. Atherton St. reported yesterday that more than $2,600 worth of items were stolen between Wednesday and Sunday from their apartment, the State College Police Department said.

    Among the items stolen were a VCR, a 19-inch television, a dual cassette player, an answering machine, two alarm clocks, 170 compact discs and a compact disc player, police said. Other items taken include pillow cases, videocassettes, stereo speakers and a man's suit.

    Police have no suspects, but an investigation is continuing.

  • Burglary: James Erdosy of 924 Bellaire Ave. reported a MacIntosh disk drive, a 12-inch display screen, a keyboard and a Deskwriter printer were stolen between Wednesday and Sunday from his apartment, State College police said.

    The equipment is worth about $2,300.

  • Theft: Nathan Aileo of 802 Pinchot reported an electric guitar and medieval body armor shirt were stolen from his dorm room between Wednesday and Sunday, University Police Services said.

    The items are worth $700.
