Police Log

  • Criminal Mischief: Doug Gwynn of 3 Leete reported a solution was poured into the coin slots of several vending machines yesterday in Warnock Commons, University Police Services said.

    The damage was listed at $1,000.

  • Drug Violations: Resident Assistant Jeffrey Towle reported the odor of burning marijuana coming from a room in Shulze Hall early Saturday morning, University police said.

    Officers found people smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol in the room. Charges are pending.

  • Theft: University employee Carol Watson reported a computer was stolen Friday or Saturday from the arts library at Pattee, University police said.

    The computer is worth $800.

  • Theft: Michael McClintock of 329 E. Beaver Ave. reported a bag containing hockey equipment was stolen Friday evening from the basement of his fraternity, Sigma Tau Gamma, the State College police said.

    The hockey equipment is worth $400.
