Police Log

  • Student cited on two counts: A University student received two citations for an incident that occurred at 8:41 p.m. Wednesday at Cafe 210 West, 210 W. College Ave., State College Bureau of Police Services said.

    Timothy Lane, 23, of 527 E. Beaver Ave., was cited for defiant trespassing and disorderly conduct when he refused to leave the bar after a waitress wouldn't serve him any more alcoholic beverages, police said.

    Lane was escorted from the bar by police officers and was told not to re-enter, police said, adding that Lane then unsuccessfully tried to return.

  • Criminal Mischief: Office of Physical Plant employee Katherine Aukerman reported someone tried to remove the hubcaps from her vehicle while it was parked at the Simmons Hall loading dock between 4:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, University Police Services said.

    The amount of damage is unknown.

  • Criminal Trespass: University employee Barbara Spindler reported someone entered 225 McAllister Building and attempted to enter room 224 between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8:50 a.m. yesterday, University police said.

  • Fraud: Michele Debiasie of 825 Bellaire Ave. reported someone used her automatic teller card at a machine in the Nittany Mall at 7:27 a.m. on March 21, State College police said.

    Police said they have a suspect.
