Police Log

  • Criminal Mischief: Office of Physical Plant employee Ruth Luse reported at 3:15 a.m. yesterday someone broke a window in 304 Hammond, University Police Services said.

    The exact date and time the incident occurred is unknown, police said, adding that no damage estimate was available.

  • Disorderly Conduct: A 26-year-old State College man was cited for disorderly conduct after he struck Keith Lawler of 724 W. Whitehall Road at 2:18 a.m. yesterday, State College Bureau of Police Services said.

    The fight started at The Phyrst, 111 E. Beaver Ave., where the two men were pushing and punching each other, police said. Lawler was removed from the bar and returned home, police said.

    The man then showed up at Lawler's residence and struck Lawler several times, police said. Lawler suffered a bloody nose and several bruises, police said.

  • Theft: Kerry Burrows of Janet reported a Sony compact disc player, a compact disc carrying case, 10 compact discs, Nike Air Max shoes, a University of Miami Starter jacket, a pair of jeans, a University of Miami sweatshirt and a gym bag were stolen on April 2 from a locker at State College Area High School, 653 Westerly Parkway, State College police said.

    The items are worth $933.
