A State College man was arrested Tuesday after law enforcement officials eradicated a plot of 235 marijuana plants he was allegedly growing.

A Commonwealth Campus student was found not guilty of rape by a Centre County jury early yesterday morning, but was convicted on charges of indecent assault.

Becky Wolfe's morning routine has changed since last year. Instead of getting up and going directly to the shower then to class, she turns on the Weather Channel, then watches "Dennis the Menace."

Pizza Hut's trademark red roof was once a little too eye-catching for the beauty board.

As the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's first voyage to America approaches, not everyone plans to celebrate.

Eric Sebastian thinks, as an "average" University student, his chance for scholarship money is almost nil.

SPORTS

Probably the loftiest dream for any high school athlete is to play for a Division I program.

In response to a question on whether his opinion of the players involved in the off-field incidents had changed, Coach Joe Paterno said, "They are all fine kids. That doesn't mean they don't make mistakes."

With the pigskin tucked firmly in his grasp, Lamar Thomas charges toward the endzone. He is too fast. No one will catch him. Touchdown. He improvises a dance that would make Hammer jealous, as he jubilantly thrusts his fist into the air. Ecstatic teammates topple Thomas as a standing room only Orange Bowl crowd errupts.

At first glance, it might seem that each member of Penn State's baseball card club adheres to the same philosophy -- the person with the most extensive collection wins.
