Bellefonte man killed in accident: A man was killed in an accident after losing control of his vehicle Friday in Walker Township, Rockview State Police said.
Bryan Durkin, 23, of Bellefonte was traveling east on Hublersburg Road when he lost control, police said. He hit a 55-gallon drum used to hold a mailbox, then rolled over several times, police said. Durkin was thrown from the car, which stopped on top of him, police said.

Man dies of unknown causes: A man died after falling off a tractor Saturday while he was mowing the side of Greenburg Road, Rockview police said.
Gerald E. Harter, 60, of Rebersburg was mowing when he apparently fell off the tractor, police said. A passerby found him and called for medical help, police said.
Harter was taken to Centre Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead, possibly of a heart attack, police said.

Juvenile runaway still missing: A juvenile male is still missing after running away Saturday night, State College Bureau of Police Services said.
Ryun Hattery, 16, of 108 Julian Drive ran away after he was placed in Stormbreak Runaway Shelter, 143 W. Fairmount Ave., by the county after a fight with his stepfather, police said.
Hattery has blond hair and blue eyes, is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 156 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, a blue bandana and faded jeans and carrying a red duffel bag, police said.
Investigation is continuing.

University worker drives into tree: A Penn State employee complained of pains in her knee, neck, back and ribs after she drove a University van into a tree Saturday afternoon, University Police Services said.
Andrea Lefebvre was reaching for a drink when the van collided with a tree on the east side of the White Golf Course, police said.
Lefebvre was taken to Ritenour Health Center, police said.

Criminal Mischief: Lyons Hall was briefly evacuated Saturday after someone set off the building's fire alarm by lighting smoke bombs in an elevator, University police said.
There are no suspects and no damage, police said.

Theft: Thomas Crane of State College reported that someone took his video camera between 5:45 and 8:30 Sunday morning from 210 W. College Ave., State College police said.
The camera was left after Crane's band finished playing at Cafe 210 West, police said. There was no sign of break-in, police said.
The camera is worth $1,100.

Theft: Frank Swanek of 3202 Nittany Apartments reported that someone took his bicycle Friday while it was locked to a rack outside Davey Lab, University police said.
The bicycle is worth $350.

Theft: Jennifer Lindsay of 103 Hoyt reported that someone took her bicycle sometime between Thursday and Friday while it was locked to a rack outside her residence hall, University police said.
The bicycle is worth $125.
