After being confined to the same five or six blocks of State College for a semester, you might begin to lose touch with nature.
 
Penn State administrators and department heads met yesterday to discuss long-term budget cuts, including a possible 10 percent cut to each University budget unit during the next three years.

Senior Kerri Kohr always gave her best to help out the women's tennis team in a tough match.
 
They tried stepping off the porch and running with the big dogs, but they weren't quick enough off the first few steps, and hence, were trampled by the vicious on-slaught that ensued.
 
This weekend the rugby team travels to Colorado Springs, Colo., to play in the National Collegiate Rugby Championships. For most of the players on the team, this trip will be their first to the rugby final four. But for two seniors, captain Pete Karmilowicz and Scott Davis, the trip will be a return to the Championships.
 
Just like when Dorothy exclaimed,"Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore," in The Wizard Of Oz, the men's tennis team has discovered that they are no longer in the comfort of their former home, the Atlantic 10.
