Quality teaching takes a backseat to research when it comes to gaining tenure at the University.
 
Despite recent University-wide calls for the improvement of and re-emphasis on teaching, some professors believe that research --especially publication -- still plays an imbalanced role in advancement at the University.

The University Resident Theater Company took on an incredible task in performing Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt this weekend, and walked away shining. The play continues this week at the Playhouse Theatre in the Arts Building.
