Police Log

  • Two men injured in car accident: Two men were injured in an accident at 2:40 Tuesday afternoon on East College Avenue, State College Bureau of Police Services said.

    C. Willard Cambell, 61, of Pennsylvania Furnace was traveling down East College Avenue when a car driven by Philip Arthur Gnosz, 43, of Port Matilda, pulled out from the Centre Daily Times office, 3400 E. College Ave. Campbell started to move to the left, but Gnosz reportedly cut into his path, police said.

    Gnosz sustained a moderate head injury while Campbell received a minor facial injury, police said.

  • Theft: Howard Janson of 225 E. Foster Ave., reported that his white Giant mountain bike was taken from the first floor of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity, same address, between April 9 and 10, State College police said.

    Police said the bike was unlocked. The bike is worth $360.
