Alleged trespassers waive hearings

BELLEFONTE -- Four students arrested for criminal trespass early Sunday morning after allegedly breaking into the Hillel Building, 224 Locust Lane, waived their right to a preliminary hearing yesterday at the Centre County Courthouse.

The charges against Charles Peters Jr., Albert J. Musmanno, John A. Ferenchak and Stephen A. Rigby, all of 409 E. Fairmount, were changed from a felony charge to a third-degree misdemeanor, technically called defiant trespass.

Ferenchak is the former Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon overall chairman.
