Female student reports rape: A female student reported she was raped by a person known to her early Saturday morning, University Police Services said.
No charges have been filed and no other information is available.

Hospital treats man following fight: Centre Community Hospital reported to the State College Bureau of Police Services that they treated Charlton Gronlund of 255 E. Fairmont Ave. for injuries he received during a fight at 1:35 yesterday morning.
Gronlund was treated and released for a broken nose and a black eye he received at Beta Sigma Beta fraternity, 255 E. Fairmont Ave. He doesn't know who hit him and doesn't want the police to take any action, police said.

Burglary: Beth Herenstein of 114 Bigler Hall reported that someone entered her room sometime between early Saturday evening and yesterday morning and removed various items including money, credit cards and compact discs, University police said.
The items are worth $350.

Criminal Mischief: University employee George McCormick reported someone damaged three vending machines in Pollock Commons between Wednesday and Thursday, University police said.
Damage is estimated at $1,130.

Theft: University employee Susan Welch reported someone took a computer and laser printer from 110 Sparks Building sometime between Saturday night and yesterday morning, University police said.
The equipment is worth $5,000.

Theft: Christopher Berchin of 456 E. Beaver Ave, DeRon Hayes of 16B Hamilton Hall and Keith Moors of 616 Stewart reported that their vehicles were broken into and items taken while the vehicles were parked in Parking Lot 83N, University police said.
Various pieces of audio equipment including speakers and radio units had been removed from the vehicles.
The incident occurred sometime between March 15 and Friday.
The items are worth $2,250.

Theft: Brian Zimmerman of Maryland reported that his trench coat was taken from Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, 409 E. Fairmont Ave., while he was playing in a band there between 1:20 and 2 yesterday morning, State College police said. The coat contained his wallet and keys.
The coat is worth $580.

Theft: John Johnston of Boalsburg reported Saturday that $60 and camera equipment worth $358 were stolen from his residence sometime Thursday, State College police said.
State College police have a suspect in the case and an investigation is continuing.

Theft: Kenny Hull of Boalsburg reported that his shoulder bag was taken from the Campus Casino, 320 E. College Ave., at 10:30 Saturday night. He had left the bag at the casino and it was gone when he returned, State College police said.
The bag contained a checkbook, driver's license, credit cards and other identification.
The value of the items was not available.
