Several Undergraduate Student Government members will present a tuition workshop tomorrow at the University Board of Trustees meeting in Hershey.
The workshop, scheduled to last two hours, will compare the University's tuition to that of other schools, examine possible parent payment plans, consider the University's cost-cutting methods and promote lobbying efforts.
USG President Mark Stewart said the workshop serves two purposes: to let students play a part and to spawn ideas and continue dialogue.
"Don't let anyone tell you there is an easy solution to the tuition problem," Stewart said.
Plans for a workshop arose at the trustee meeting in July, Stewart said.
USG Vice President Merryl Werber said statistics will give a different view to the trustees.
"We're going to be presenting those figures from our perspective," Werber said.
They expect to have about 40 to 45 people attend the session, Stewart added.
