Criminal Mischief: Someone reported that the window of a Hitachi excavator owned by D & A Construction of St. Marys was broken sometime between Saturday and Sunday while the machine was located at the 100 block of Calder Way, State College Bureau of Police Services said.

Theft: University employee Gretchen Leathers reported that someone removed a target pistol from the pistol range in White Building between last October and Jan. 13, University Police Services said.

The pistol is worth about $200.
