After reading the article entitled "New Loop route to service fraternity area on trial basis" by Scott Dodd, it's no surprise that the Interfraternity Council has decided to boycott your newspaper.

With his opening statement of "Instead of stumbling home from fraternity parties . . ." to the implication that date rape is endemic to fraternity parties, Mr. Dodd makes clear his bias (and perhaps the Collegian's?) against the fraternity system at Penn State.

Fraternities, sororities and other Greek organizations have added much to the fabric of Penn State (think about the Dance Marathon), and deserve more balanced reporting than that presented by Mr. Dodd.
