In a recent article in the Feb. 19 Collegian on the film "Europa Europa," my comments were taken out of context and could be misconstrued by the reader.

Although in Germany and in other places some people would like to forget about the Holocaust and put the past behind them, it is vital that we never forget the Holocaust. The Nazi's systematic destruction of European Jewry must remain with us and imparted to our children.

Today, one only has to look at Bradley Smith and other Holocaust Revisionists to realize how some people not only want to put the past behind them, but to rewrite history as we know it to be. May we never forget the Nazi atrocities, so that never again will these horrible crimes be perpetrated against humanity.
