In an effort to improve coverage, Panhellenic Council decided last night to join two other student organizations by boycotting advertising in The Daily Collegian for a three-week period beginning Feb. 24.
 
Nicholas Pelick wanted to give something to the University, since he said it gave so much to him.
 
Sue Voigt loves working with children and has been babysitting since age 11, but she has only been able to find occasional jobs since she has come to the University.
 
Spurred by U.S. Sen. Harris Wofford's victory in November and the nation's health-care crisis, health-care reform has become a major issue in this election year.

The toughest competition for members of the men's tennis team at the Pitt Indoor Invitational came from teammates.

BALTIMORE -- The men's basketball team's final road test of the season proved once again that there are no easy road games for this team -- no matter who they play.
 
BALTIMORE -- Last night, Penn State celebrated George Washington's birthday in a less-than-capital fashion. At the Baltimore Arena it had problems finding the basket in its 81-77 win over the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.
 
Playing its toughest opponent of the season on Saturday, the women's tennis team was smashed 9-0 by No. 14 Indiana University.

Anyone from Old MacDonald to a genetics scientist can find something interesting at the Palmer Museum of Art's current display titled "The Art of American Livestock Breeding."
 
As part of the 18th annual Penn State International Festival, students from various ethnic and cultural organizations have set up an arts and crafts exhibit representative of their native countries.
 
The bold and the small are heard throughout State College with bands signed to independent labels selling their dreams and demos to willing students.
 
Within this past year, rock 'n' roll received a subtle hint that independent labels are on the way out: Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore was pictured sporting a "DGC is hardcore" T-shirt.
 
I love Courtney Love. With her glowing blue eyes, incandescent sheer blond locks and shapely curves -- she towers in beauty.
 
If you've got creative talents just waiting to emerge, now is your chance.
 
Depending on your point of view, T4 is one of those bands that is either extremely scary or thunderously cathartic.
