Man injured in one vehicle accident: A State College man suffered minor injuries after losing control of his vehicle on ramp D at University Drive and East College Avenue at about 7:25 Monday evening, State College Bureau of Police Services said.
Fred Carson, 69, of 519 S. Pugh St., slid on some gravel on the left side of the ramp, overcompensated and brushed the hillside on the right side of the ramp. Carson's vehicle then crossed the median and went into a ditch and up a hill on the left side.
Carson was treated at Centre Community Hospital and released a hospital spokeswoman said.

Accidental Shooting: Kenneth Barnett, instructor of a pistol class in White Building, reported that a student accidentally shot herself in the leg with a 22-caliber semi-automatic gun about 6:15 Monday evening, University Police Services said.
Raychell Derbyshire of 320 E. Beaver Ave. was holding the weapon at her side and accidentally pulled the trigger, police said.
Derbyshire was treated at Centre Community Hospital and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Criminal Mischief: Sam Corrigan, assistant manager of Housing Services, reported a 6-by 7-foot plate glass window on the south side of Findlay Commons was shattered by an unknown object overnight between Monday and yesterday, University police said. The cost of the damage is unavailable.

Criminal Mischief: Brian Lamson of Dysart reported that the rear window of his truck was shattered while parked in a parking garage at 131 S. Fraser St. Monday between 9 in the morning and 10:30 that evening, State College police said. Nothing was missing from his vehicle.
No damage estimate is available, police said.

Retail Theft: Employees at Mike's Video, 228 W. College Ave., discovered that 15 Nintendo games and five or six movies were missing and believed stolen between Saturday and Monday, State College police said.
The store's manager said the amount of the loss provided by the police about $1,220 was incorrect, and refused to provide further comment.

Solicitation: An unidentified person was found selling caricature posters of The Daily Collegian sports writer Chino Wilson and former President Ronald Reagan in Pattee without a University permit at 2:08 Monday afternoon, University police said.
The person, who was selling the posters for $5 each, has been referred to the Office of Conduct Standards.

Theft: Greg Hardner of 116 Edith St. reported that his drum set and hardware were stolen from 110 Music Building beforeJan. 27, University police said.
The equipment is valued at $700.

Theft: Kevin Burke said various compact discs were taken from his unlocked room at Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity, 328 E. Foster Ave., during the weekend, State Coflege police said.
The discs are valued at $500.

Theft: Paul Manwaring of 2072 Mary Ellen Lane reported that someone stole a portable drafting table and tools from a locker on the fifth floor drafting area of Academic Activities between Jan. 28 and Monday, University police said.
The items stolen are valued at $200.

Theft: Michael Hertig of 349 W. Clinton Ave. reported that his brown leather jacket was stolen from a booth at the Shandygaff Saloon, 212 E. College Ave., Jan. 31 between 12:30 and 1:30 that morning, State College police said.
The jacket is worth $185.
