Keep trash off page

After a long absence Chino Wilson is finally back. We've really missed his militant racist theories. While he is justified in pointing out that discrimination and racism still exist in this world, his thoughts on AIDS and taking up arms against white people are uncalled for.

His accusation that AIDS was developed in a laboratory with the intention of wiping out the black race is utterly ridiculous. Apparently Wilson hasn't seen the statistics on AIDS because he would see that the disease is color-blind.

Chino's suggestion that black people should carry handguns and rifles to kill white people who threaten them should never have been printed in this paper. Radical viewpoints and liberal ideas belong on the editorial page of a college newspaper. Openly telling people to go out and murder their fellow human beings does not belong there. It is the Collegian's policy to "reject letters if they are libelous and do not conform to standards of good taste." I believe that this applies to forum articles also or is there a double standard for racists? In the interest of good taste and responsibility to the readers the editors of the Collegian should keep this trash off of its pages in the future.
