Student arrested for multiple charges: Robert Hannum, 20, of 614 Mifflin, was arrested yesterday morning on charges of tampering with fire equipment, false alarms, simple assault, terroristic threats, underage drinking and public drunkenness, State College Bureau of Police Services said.
Hannum pulled a fire alarm on the 10th floor of Beaver Terrace Apartments, 456 E. Beaver Ave. He then fled to the ninth floor, where he punched Christopher Botek of 456 E. College Ave., who saw Hannum pull the alarm, police said.

Burglary: Lisa Schiefer and Linda Urmson of 301 Locust Lane, reported that someone broke the lock on their door and took jewelry from each of them between 9:30 Saturday night and 1:30 yesterday morning, State College police said.
The jewelry is worth about $660.

Criminal Mischief: Stephen Luptak of 520 Sproul was cited Saturday for shattering a glass door at O.W. Houts & Son Inc., 120 N. Buckhout St., when he slammed it, State College police said.
The door is worth $225.

Criminal Mischief: Robert Ballenger of Boalsburg reported that he was punched in the face Saturday morning by a pedestrian when he was stopped at a red light at 200 W. Beaver Ave., State College police said.

Criminal Mischief: Michael Lass of 411 Snyder reported that someone tore off the card access reader from Snyder Hall about 7 yesterday morning, University police said.

Criminal Mischief: Someone painted graffiti on the southeast side wall of the Visual Arts Building about 6:15 Friday evening, University police said.

Theft: Brian Kabularcik of Royersford reported that a duffel bag filled with clothing and other personal items was taken from his unlocked car between 1 and 6:30 Saturday morning, while it was parked at Park Hill Apartments, 478 E. Beaver Ave., State College police said.
The items are worth $870.

Theft: Someone reported that a tool bucket was taken between 3:30 and 5:30 Saturday morning from a first floor service room that was broken into at 646 E. College Ave., State College police said.
The tools are worth $450.

Theft: Kathy Lott of Philipsburg, reported that her Quantum Rossignol skis, Solomon bindings and Scott poles were taken from Tussey Mountain Ski Area about 7 Saturday evening, State College police said.
The equipment is worth $445.

Theft: Kelly Baldin of Bellefonte, reported that her Elan skis and Teal bindings were taken about 8 Friday evening from Tussey Mountain Ski Area, where they had been left unattended, State College police said.
The equipment is worth $300.

Theft: Diane Farnsworth of 126 W. Lytle Ave., reported that her personal cassette player was stolen from her Boucke Building office between Thursday and Friday, University police said.
