Gov. Robert P. Casey recently announced that he is freezing $275 million in state funds, including $9 million appropriated for Penn State.
 
At the urging of several neighborhood representatives and against the advice of Mayor Arnold Addison, the State College Borough Council last night approved the rezoning of public lands to park lands to restrict their development and preserve green space.
 
Members of the University Faculty Senate yesterday debated over a proposed restructuring of the promotion and tenure policy that could be subject to interpretation.
 
Midterms and finals seem a long way off. But they will roll around, bringing with them stress and frustration.
 
Jennifer Devery got fed up with the lack of computers in the labs so she asked Santa for a computer last Christmas.
 
"Ergonomically designed" no longer just applies to cars.
 
Life science students can now take a computer science class specially designed to meet their needs.
