State College man faces more charges: Robert Carrico, 18, of State College was arrested Tuesday by Bellefonte Police on charges of terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, simple assault and harassment, Bellefonte Police said. No further information about this arrest was available.
Carrico was also arrested Saturday by State College Bureau of Police Services for simple assault outside Campus Casino, 320 E. College Ave. After his arrest Saturday, he allegedly hit police Lt. John Owens at the Centre County Prison in Bellefonte.
Carrico is currently imprisoned in lieu of $1,000 bail.

Illegal U-turn leads to fight: A State College man was cited Tuesday with criminal mischief when he shattered a window in a car which made an illegal U-turn in front of him, University Police Services said.
A fight erupted after John Croyle Jr. of Philipsburg made a U-turn in the middle of Curtin Road near Shields Building, forcing David Wagner of State College to swerve. Wagner then got out of his car and and shattered Croyle's car window, police said.
Croyle was cited for making an illegal U-turn and may also be charged with driving with a suspended license, police said.

Two students report service theft: Two University students reported Tuesday that someone had been charging long distance calls to their dorm phone numbers, University police said.
Ann Orchard of 716 Pennypacker had $27 in calls charged to her number and Daniel Weil of 509 Packer had $13 in calls charged to his number, University police said.
University police said the suspect in the case is making long distance calls and telling the operator that he or she wants to charge the call to another number.
An arrest may be soon, police said.

Accidental Fire: A fire apparently caused by a basement furnace destroyed a Osceola Mills double home owned by Metro Ferrance of Philipsburg at 11 Tuesday night, Philipsburg State Police said.
The occupants of the Curtin Street building, James and Vickie Cutler, and Joseph and Joan Opaliski and their two children, escaped without injuries. The total loss is estimated at $100,000, police said.

Attempted Credit Card Fraud: Donna Beach of Lynchburg, Va., reported yesterday that someone attempted to make a fraudulent purchase with her credit card Jan. 13., University police said.
The suspect in the case attempted to make a telephone purchase to J. Crew Clothing Co. using Beach's account number. The amount of the attempted purchase was not available. No merchandise was delivered, police said.

Burglary/Theft: Frederick Williams of 218 W. Irvin Ave. reported Tuesday that three blank personal checks were taken from his Mueller Laboratory office Sept. 24., University police said.
Williams did not realize the checks were missing until Nov. 20.
One of the checks was cashed for $425 on an unknown date with the use of an alias, police said.

Parking Violation: Todd Burger of 2301 Nittany Apartments was transported to District Magistrate Clifford York's office Tuesday for failure to pay 23 parking violations totaling $851, University police said. arranged for the outstanding fines.

Theft: Elissa Rolnick of 621 Shulze reported that her backpack and contents was stolen Monday from an unlocked locker at the Penn State Bookstore, University police said.
The backpack contained two textbooks, cash, a calculator and a Mid-State Bank card. Total estimated loss is $168.

Theft: Joseph Harrington of 806 S. Sparks St. reported Tuesday that two wooden turtle doves and a wooden partridge were taken from a Christmas display in his front yard within the past two weeks, State College Bureau of Police Services said.
The value of the decorations is unknown.
