During this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Nov. 12-14, the Association of Residence Hall Students will be conducting a survey in the commons buildings. This survey was created to gauge student interest in increasing on-campus co-ed housing. After the survey is completed, ARHS will present the Office of Residence Life a proposal based on the results.
The survey is more than just a yes or no on whether or not to increase co-ed housing. There are also questions as to where and how to implement any changes in the current system. All responses will be taken into account when ARHS prepares the proposal for Residence Life. If the results are overwhelmingly in favor of increasing co-ed housing, changes could begin as early as next fall.
Student input is vital for any changes to occur, so if you have an opinion about co-ed housing remember to fill out a survey in your commons this week.
