Woman reports rape after party: A University student reported Sunday that she was allegedly raped early that morning, State College Bureau of Police Services said.
The woman said she left Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, 321 E. Fairmount Ave., with a man she had met. She told police he escorted her to a grassy area between Theta Xi fraternity, 425 Locust Lane, and Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, 403 Locust Lane, between 12:45 a.m. and 1:15 a.m., where he allegedly raped her, police said. She does not know the name of the man.
The man is described as a college-age male, 5-feet-10-inches or 5-feet-11-inches tall, with dark medium-length hair. He weighs 170 pounds and was wearing a white T-shirt.
Police are asking anyone who might have seen or heard anything in that area to call State College police.

Man charged with assault: A man was arrested early Sunday morning after he allegedly assaulted a woman when she tried to leave his residence, State College police said.
Robert B. Lenker of 521 Clay Lane was charged with simple assault and unlawful restraint when the woman emerged from the residence with bumps and bruises on her neck and face.
Lenker was arraigned in front of District Justice Clifford Yorks and was released on a $2,500 recognizance bail.

Accident: Jeffrey Renner, a University employee, reported that his car was struck by an unidentified vehicle July 9 sometime between 8 a.m. and noon while it was parked in the Blue B Parking Lot, University Police Services said.
Damage estimates were unavailable.

Criminal Mischief: Someone at University Terrace Apartments, 825 Bellaire Ave., reported that a sign on the building was damaged either Saturday night or Sunday morning, State College police said.
Damage is estimated at $2,000.

Criminal Mischief: Moses Ling of 125 W. College Ave. reported that a wooden railing and a door window were broken at his apartment building Saturday evening, State College police said.
Damage estimates are unknown.

Criminal Mischief: Paul L. Lovenduski of Force was cited for criminal mischief when he tried to remove parts off a 25th Annual Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts booth Saturday evening, State College police said.

Criminal Mischief/Theft: J.M. Citrino of Santa Cruz, Ca., reported that several items from his booth at the Arts Festival had been damaged and taken between late Thursday night and early Friday morning, University police said.
Damage and loss is estimated at $400.

Criminal Mischief/Theft: An unidentified male was apprehended by State College police Friday morning when he used a forklift truck to upend a parked vehicle on the 100 block of North Barnard Street, University police said.
The truck was stolen from Lot K at the Applied Research Laboratory, where a sidewalk was damaged from the incident, police said.
The male was placed in Centre County Prison in lieu of bail.

Disorderly Conduct/Open Lewdness: Student Security Assistant Jacob Vanier, University police, reported that a nude male was standing outside the south entrance of McElwain Hall early Saturday morning, University police said.
The unidentified male was apprehended, arraigned before District Justice Yorks and placed in Centre County Prison in lieu of $500 bail, police said.

Robbery: Two University Housing employees reported that they were robbed at gun point by an unidentified male July 11 around 11:30 p.m. in Parking Lot Brown G behind Henderson Building South, University police said.
The gun was fired but no one was injured. The male escaped with three bags containing an unknown amount of money.

Theft: Barron Chandler of Narbeth reported his $700 camcorder missing when he left it unattended in the Pugh Street Parking Garage Saturday night, State College police said.

Theft: William A. Shanahan of 583 Melissa Lane reported that a radar detector and a cellular phone were taken from his car either Saturday night or Sunday morning while parked at the Fraser Street garage, State College police said.
The items are worth $475.

Theft: Maurice Hoben, 255 E. Nittany Ave., reported that two bags filled with clothes and a Walkman were taken from his residence either Saturday night or Sunday morning, State College police said.
The items are worth $425.

Theft: Eric Reeder, 332 E. Whitehall Road, reported that his $400 18-speed mountain bike was taken from 729 S. Allen St. either Saturday night or Sunday morning, State College police said.

Theft: Gary Penkala, 445 Waupelani Drive, reported that his JVC tape player was taken from his car either Saturday night or Sunday morning, State College police said.
The player is worth $300.

Theft: Todd Nurick, 225 E. Beaver Ave. reported that his toolbox and tools were taken from his residence either Saturday night or Sunday morning, State College police said.
The value of the items is unknown.
