A design for the Korean War Veterans Memorial, based on an award-winning proposal by four University professors, was rejected by the Commisson of Fine Arts because it was too complicated.
 
Penn State has nowhere to build but up to solve its parking problems, said the University's retiring parking manager.
 
The investigation into the stabbing death of an inmate at the State Correctional Institution at Rockview continued today, but several suspects are currently being held for questioning, an official at Rockview said.

Michelle Frates, a field hockey star during her four years at Penn State, will now get to try her hand at coaching as the assistant field hockey coach at Yale.
