Get real

In response to the poster Penn State is putting out to combat racism and bigotry I have a few things to say. In times of tight spending and budget cuts is this waste of money really necessary? I think not.

Why does Penn State continually find new and idiotic ways to spend our tuition dollars? Certainly a bunch of posters spelling out all the names that people already know and laugh about is not even close to a good solution.

If anything it will only make people laugh at what a dumb poster such a respected school has put out! Chalk this one up as one of Penn State's big blunders.

Also, in response to the people who think it is offensive and brings back a lot of pain and grief I just have this to say: Remember the saying as a kid, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me!"

Quit looking for excuses to your own shortcomings and get tough people! You make me sick! If you can't handle seeing English slang written on some posters, I don't know how you made it this far in the world today!

Penn State, how about putting your money towards something more practical than foolish posters.
