ROTC in danger

I'm voting for Courtney Malveaux and Saul Treiman for USG President/Vice President, because ROTC is in danger.

The Faculty Senate passed the sexual orientation clause, and they claim this decision will not affect ROTC.

I'd like the Faculty Senate to tell that to students at Pitzer College in California. Their ROTC got kicked off campus because of a sexual orientation clause.

I'd like them to tell that to ROTC students at Rutgers. The university stopped giving them scholarships because of a sexual orientation clause. Rutgers, like Penn State, is a public land-grant school.

I'd like them to tell that to the 1,600 Penn State students who need ROTC scholarship money.

The Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Student Alliance points out the schools that have ROTC and a sexual orientation clause (at least for the time being,) but ignores the two ROTC programs that recently crumbled. The two programs that fell apart are two too many.

Mike LaFlam admitted that while he was political co-director of LGBSA his group posted a flier titled "ROTC SUCKS." Now LaFlam is running for USG vice president with Leslie Osborn, and he tells us he isn't anti-ROTC. Yeah, right.

I know Courtney Malveaux, and he will do anything he needs to preserve ROTC at Penn State. He's also committed to making sure Penn State is a safe place for everyone, including homosexuals. So I'm voting for Courtney Malveaux and Saul Treiman.
