Police Log

  • Criminal Mischief: A University Police Services patrolman discovered a cracked glass panel on a door on the east side of Chambers Building late Saturday night, University Police said.

    Police said the damage was estimated at $200.

  • Criminal Mischief: Greg Kurisko, 151 Bishop Ave., reported that someone had walked on his car and had broken the windshield while it was parked in Parking Lot Blue A on the east side of Mitchell Building, University police said.

    Police said the incident occurred between 8 p.m. Friday and 1:20 p.m. Sunday.

    No estimate of damage was available, police said.

  • Theft: Ron Gunther, 309 Sproul, reported that his bicycle was taken from outside his dorm between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 8:45 yesterday morning, University police said.

    Police said the bicycle is worth $650.

  • Theft: Scott Herbein, 529 S. Pugh St., reported that a $400 red mountain bicycle was taken from his residence between 2:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, State College Bureau of Police Services said.

    The bicycle was locked to a post on the front porch, police said.

  • Theft: Jason Pratt, 614 Jordan, reported that his bike was taken from the east side of Porter Hall between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. yesterday, University police said.

    Police said the bike was valued at $320.

  • Theft: Traci-Ann Hamlin, 318 Heister Hall, reported that a Nikon 35mm camera was taken from 300 S. Pugh St. late Saturday night, State College police said.

    The camera is worth $250, police said.

  • Theft: James Garlick, an employee at the Federal Express Building at the University Park Airport, 2535 Foxhill Rd., reported that scaffolding was taken from the building between noon Friday and 10 a.m. yesterday, University police said.

    Police said the equipment is worth $165.
